A warning ⚠️ lions mane Lions mane destroyed my life. I took it out of curiosity, I didn’t think that my life as I know it will cease to exist. I took it for a week and half I was cycling it 5/2 , I took the proper amount that was suggested by the company I bought it from. The 3 first days were amazing I experienced mind clarity, fast thinking and hyper focus. But then I started to feel drowsy and out of energy completely, so I stopped taking it for a few days. When I started to take lions mane again it wasn’t working at all, I felt nothing, no effect whatsoever, so I just kept consuming it in the hopes that maybe I just need to give it time. Suddenly a total loss of cognition and extreme side effects like, extreme migraines, total loss of sleep (insomnia),...

Been taking it daily for several years for the cognitive benefits. No cycling off, no adverse side effects that I’m aware of. I’ve tried a few different brands, and I prefer Double Wood 500mg capsules, taking 2 daily. I believe that I’m mentally sharper when I take it regularly but notice some brain fog if I miss a day or two.

I've taken it for over a year on and off. I immediately noticed improved cognition, memory recall and just stringing words together, things like that. When I run out I loose some of those benefits but my baseline seems to have permanently improved. I'm super careful of my source. Superfeast is a fantastic brand for those in Australia.

Been taking it for half a decade in and off usually putting 2-3 grams in my protein shakes. I noticed both short and long term memory improvement, word recall improvement, and REM sleep improvement. I also have a stomach of steel and rarely get sick but I take reishi, chaga, Turkey tail, and Cordyceps as well.

I do very well eating cooked lion’s mane mushroom in the morning (part of the Stamets stack). I can only eat a small amount per day. Too much is too activating and makes me agitated. It is a strong medicinal mushroom. I did badly when I tried a strong lions mane tincture. Any time I got anxious, I got nerve-related hives on my body. It got out of my system quickly once I figured out what was happening and stopped taking the tincture. Dosage definitely counts, and too much can have adverse effects. I feel safest eating the actual mushroom itself. Plus, it is delicious.

Well, I took it 4 days in a row (1 capsule = 500mg a day) and had psychosis like symptoms for about a week. It was horrible to say the least and I hope to never have to go through something like that again cause what I was feeling was like out of this world. A mental hel. Up untill this day I still don't know why I responded so horrible to it. There is also a reddit called 'lionsmane recovery' with about 10k people with similair experiences. Luckily for me it lasted only days, for other months up to years which is inhumane. It literally destroys people. Fyi; I have never had mental issues or whatsoever before taking LM.

I've been taking it for 3 weeks. It's been amazingly good at cutting through brain fog and giving energy. Also has really helped with mood. I fully intend on continuing with it.
