I am a fan of ashwagandha. It's a very potent herb and I used to take it when I was very stressed from work and all. Next morning I would wake up with morning wood and better sleep. I generally don't take it daily cuz I feel It flares my pimples. Otherwise 10/10 herb.

I take Ash for sleep. For about 2 weeks it works well, no unwanted side effects. Then the sleep benefits fade, so I go off it for at least 2 weeks. And so on. As for testosterone, I take low-dose prescription test, and I’m female…so maybe I don’t notice any difference. I read Ash has very different effects on different people, so some caution is warranted.

I took it for about a week and had some of the best sleep in a long time. However I was pissed off, aggressive, and had strong thoughts of self harm after a few days and it took another week after stopping to feel myself again.

I took Ashwaganda for quite a long time when I was in my 20s. Medicine Garden KSM 66, 600mg in the morning, and occasionally 600mg in the evening of KSM 66 (with saffron) from the same brand. First 1-2 months: Felt great. I had a low stress level to begin with, but I felt more calm and a little bit more confident than usual. I didn't get my testosterone checked while I was taking Ashwaganda, but I suspect it was slightly higher than usual during the first year. Thought to myself that everyone should do this, this is great. 3-4 months in: Was experiencing diminishing returns. Started cycling it. The effect returned after every cycle, but it wasn't quite as significant as it was during the first couple of months. 1.5 years in: Was getting less of an effect, even with cycling.
