Didn’t work for me at all. Made me so dizzy the next day, I barely could walk. But other people I know have no problem with it. I didn’t sleep with it, but others do. I hope it works for you.

I used to take trazodone for sleep as well but it gave me such horrible congestion in my nose, so bad that I couldn't breathe through my nose and I was forced to breathe through my mouth. This in turn caused really bad dry mouth. I felt like I had to constantly blow my nose from the congestion but my nose just never cleared up. I started at 50mg and even tried 25mg but that didn't help. Needless to say, the congestion plus the dry mouth kept me awake and probably just made my insomnia even worse. Proceed with caution.

I tried it for a couple nights but it gave a migraine and made me feel like I was hung over all day. One of the worst for side effects in my opinion.

I take 50mg, literally life changing. Makes my mouth dry but that’s a small price to pay to actually sleep at night.

On 50 mg for decade + but generally only take 25. I have to take it right before (10-20 min) wanting to go to sleep or I lose that groggy/sleepy/drifting off feeling that dulls my brain and lets me fall asleep. No real side effects other than I can tell im more tired in the morning for sure.

It makes me drowsy but I still wake up a lot. Now on 100mg Trazodone with 8mg Ramelteon. The combo seems to work better for me. I haven’t experienced any bad side effects.
